What a season it has been! We're proud to share that we've shipped peonies to 45 different states plus Washington, D.C. this year! It's pretty incredible to think that a little farm here in Spring Grove, Minnesota, is helping gardens bloom all across the country. We are so grateful!
But have you ever wondered where the extra peonies go after shipping season wraps up?
Some are planted right back into our fields to grow and multiply, but the majority are headed for pots! That's what's keeping us busy now.
We're working our way through potting these beauties so they have the time and space to develop a healthy root system before next spring. They'll spend the winter growing and settling in, ready to head home with gardeners as potted plants next season.
It's a whole lot of digging, potting and getting our hands dirty, but we can't wait to see these plants grow and find new homes in gardens next spring.
