We are so excited to be offering our potted peonies at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Plant Sale this spring!
We will showcase 18 amazing varieties in various price ranges. From classic favorites to new and trendy colors you can expect great options.
A percentage of the sales supports the Arboretum and we couldn’t be more happy to support such a fabulous place.
Friends School Plant Sale
Shop us at the Friends School Plant Sale!
You’ll find some really cool plants and trees from us at this year’s Friends School Plant Sale.
We are the largest grower of orchid cactus in the Midwest and are happy to provide a great selection of orchid cactus for the sale.
In addition you’ll find some great rees and shrubs from us.
Proceeds are donated to the Friends School and we are happy be involved!
Each year on Mother’s Day Weekend, The Friends School Plant sale draws hundreds of shoppers. Run by volunteers, the sale is one of the largest fundraising plant sales in the U.S. If you’ve never been, you need to visit!

Explore the peony fields and farm to find the perfect spot to lay your blanket and settle in for dinner amongst the blooms.
Price: $55 / person Adults and children 4 and older. No ticket is required for children 3 and under.
Date: Saturday, June 1, 2024
Time: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Come when you can, stay as you like and leave when you must.
Food: Charcuterie boxes from Hunt + Gather Grazing. Boxes are individual and each guest will receive their own. No outside food is permitted.
Drink: Choose one drink from a variety of non-alcoholic options. If you choose, you are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverage of choice. Please be responsible.
Music: Enjoy some Scandinavian-American old time dance music by Decorah-based string band "Foot-Notes."
Bonus gift: Your ticket includes a coupon for either $10 off any purchase or a 3-stem peony bouquet.
Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to come, please gift your tickets to a friend or family member.
We have some very cute picnic blankets for you to use, or bring your own blanket or chair. Make yourself comfortable!
Closed-toed shoes are recommended for walking in the peony fields.
Service animals are welcome but please leave pets at home.
Pilates and Peace with the Peonies
Studio M is thrilled to debut their first Pilates & Peace w/the Peonies here at Hidden Spring Peony Farm on Sunday, June 2nd with a two part class to be enjoyed among the blooming and fragrant peonies!
The 45min Pilates class is open to all levels of ability and experience and it will be followed by a relaxing and grounding guided meditation and sound bath surrounded by the peony fields and fresh country air.
Join Studio M instructors; Kendra of Iron Core and Kristina with Starseed Energy at Hidden Springs Peony Farm as we stretch and find stillness strengthening our mind-body connection with nature by our side!

Home to the largest cut peony farm in Wisconsin, this town has rallied around our favorite flower with a variety of events for the whole family.
We will be at Ovans Peony Farm June 7 and 8, 2024 with some gorgeous potted peonies for purchase.

Day Trip to the Peony Farm
Are you looking for a fun day trip from the Twin Cities? Join Bobby's bus tour to Hidden Springs Peony Farm in Spring Grove, MN! We will travel in a luxury motorcoach with reclining seats, panoramic windows, electrical outlets, on-board WiFi, a plush interior, and a restroom. You'll chat with Laura and Bobby about peonies and farm life, have lunch among the flower fields, and browse the garden center for the perfect peony before returning home.
Our package includes transportation to and from the farm, a farm chat with Laura, access to the peony fields for browsing, picking, shopping, smelling, or taking pictures, a delicious charcuterie box lunch, a vegan option will be available, plus a drink of your choice, a $10 coupon for anything at Hidden Springs Peony Farm, and chat time with Bobby about gardening. Ask him anything you want!
We'll leave at 8:00 a.m. sharp and arrive at the Peony Farm at 11:00 a.m. You'll have a farm chat with Laura at 11:15 a.m., which will be followed by lunch at noon. After that, you'll have plenty of time to browse and shop before we leave the farm at 2:00 p.m. You'll be back in the Twin Cities by 5:00 p.m., just in time for dinner!
Please note that you can bring your own bottle of wine to enjoy on the farm, but we'll also have non-alcoholic drinks available. Be sure to arrive at the bus at least 15 minutes before the 8:00 a.m. departure time. Dress comfortably and don't forget to grab any plants you want before we go.

Gardening in the Driftless - Houston County Master Gardeners
Learn and shop with us and the Houston County Master Gardeners!
The Houston County Master Gardeners host a fabulous day of shopping and workshops each spring. We are so happy to be part of the day! In its 12th year, the event forcuses on “Gardening in the Driftless”.
This year we will feature spring bulb planters for purchase along with a few other early season plants for purchase.
Several other vendors are on site as well with fabulous garden related products and of course… plants!
Bryan and Laura are also collaborating with Kristi and Kevin of Heartland Blooms and Berry Farm for a chat about chasing dreams as entrepreneurs in the gardening world.
We are just one small part of this big day featuring speakers and workshops from folks who talk the talk and walk the walk.
