Wolf River Apple Tree - Bare Root
Fruit trees are available for pickup at the farm only. No shipping available.
If you’re looking for a really big apple, Wolf River is your choice. Discovered in Wisconsin near the Wolf River, it became popular for baking because you only needed one! The base color is green-yellow that blushes with vertical red striping.
Inside it’s juicy, crunchy and mildly sweet. The flavor develops well during hot summers. Eat it fresh or use it for baking. Ripens mid-season.
The tree is extremely cold hardy and resistant to apple scab, powdery mildew and fire blight.
