With colorings similar to the peace rose and bomb-shaped flowers with many petals, it is Simply Scrumptious in so many ways. The flowers are held close to the foliage, for a stunning early summer flowering show, the plants are deer resistant the the leaves will get no mildew, making for a beautiful all-summer plant. The maroon fall color is a bonus. No staking required!

The Garden Candy® series was developed by Don Smith, a retired atmospheric research scientist who decided breeding Itoh peonies was his new calling. Peonies in the series are named after all things sweet, from candies to sweet fruits to sweet grandchildren.
