Honeycrisp Apple Tree - Bare Root
Fruit trees are available for pickup at the farm only. No shipping available.
It’s hard not to love Honeycrisp, a popular newer introduction from the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. The tree is extremely hardy and withstands temperatures down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit with little to no damage.
The skin is red over yellow with cream-colored flesh. True to its name, the flavor is sweet like honey with just a bit of tartness and crispness that can’t be beat. Leave on the tree until mid-October to develop full flavor.
Great for fresh eating, baking, juice and sauces. It also stores well for up to 5-6 months.
